Earth Day is fast-approaching, but can you think of a way to make a difference and make our world a cleaner place? Have you ever heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? Well, it’s a collection of garbage (mostly plastic) floating in the Pacific Ocean, located between Hawaii and California. Currently, it’s twice the size of Texas and is threatening marine life. It’s affecting us too, and something needs to be done about it. You can start by recycling plastic both at home and in school.
